My piano tuning and repairs business has grown through the years to include many regular clients across Brighton and the surrounding areas: schools, concert halls, theatres, piano teachers and thousands of private customers. Whether your piano is an old Edwardian heirloom or a top-of-the-range concert grand, I enjoy the challenge of getting the best out of the instrument.
I studied for four years at the prestigious London College of Furniture (later to become London Metropolitan University) 1981-85. From there I went to work at Harold Walker Pianos in Worthing, becoming head technician in 1988. A year later I started my own piano tuning business.
I have been a member of the Pianoforte Tuners Association since 2007 and I now examine would-be candidates. Added benefits of PTA membership include £5,000,000 liability insurance for your peace of mind. The PTA provides workshops and forums, helping to improve and nurture skills and discuss piano related problems. I tune pianos for Blüthner Piano Centre Limited.
